On Sunday, August 9th there will be a fundraiser for Invisible Children, a nonprofit that began in 2003. The organization is dedicated to ending a 23 year long war across Africa and rescuing child soldiers, from a rebel group, The Lord's Resistance Army, aka The LRA.
